Kai and Krystal are dating!

EXO’s Kai and F(x)’s Krystal have been confirmed to date! S.M. Entertainment says so themselves!

Kai and Krystal have been friends for years now as they are both in the same company. They have always been close friends, but their relationship changed to more in the beginning of this spring. Although the two have busy schedules, they try to make it work at every chance they got.

“The two know that they are similar: looks, personality, taste in music, fashion taste and hobbies. It was inevitable that they became lovers” -A friend of the couple.

Both are born in 1994 and have known each other for ten years. They have been spotted wearing “couples clothes” and S.M. Entertainment confirmed that their friendship has grown into a relationship.

Girls’ Generation breaks their own record

Girls’ Generation has become so popular that the only thing left to do was break their own records. Which they did with “I got a boy”. The song has broken their own record of the most viewed music video by a girl group (this was “Gee” before).

The song and music video for I got a boy were released on January 1^st 2013. It became a critic and fan favorite with over 10 millions views in the first 55 hours. It also won the Video of the year award at the very first Youtube Music Awards in 2013.
And I got a boy is clearly still a popular song, having over 157 million views today (10/03/16)!

Jessica Jung signs with Coridel Entertainment

OMO! The Jessica Jung and Tyler Kwon scandal just got a little bit bigger.

Jessica Jung used to be a member of Girls’ Generation (SNSD), but she filed a lawsuit against S.M Entertainment in 2015 and ended up having to leave the company and the group (but not after a heart breaking tribute by the other girls). Rumor has it that her (ex?) boyfriend Tyler Kwon was the cause of this whole drama.

After Jessica left SNSD she did some acting, but mostly she focused on her fashion line. She also announced a solo album will be released soon. And now it’s finally announced which company she signed with; a surprisingly small one called Coridel Entertainment who’s CEO is Tyler Kwon. Yeah.. quite the scandal, right?

Coridel Entertainment has 3 artists now; Jeff Bernat, Playback (which is one of my favorite debut groups from 2015) and now Jessica Jung.

Personally I don’t really care which company Jessica signed with, I just know her solo album will be amazing because I am in love with her voice. And I’m sure all my fellow Sones also can’t wait to listen to her new music!

THE EUBIN SITUATION and how it effects CLC

CLC is back with two new members, this would have been great if not for the fact that one of those new members is actually holding the girls down…

Okay quick backstory: CLC debuted in March 2015 with five members. The girls got some attention from kpop fans, but not enough to really become famous. The group is almost semi-popular at best. So Cube Entertainment added two more members to this group in the hope it will get them some more attention.
The new members are Elkie and Eubin, only Eubin is not allowed to be in a kpop group yet…

Eubin isn’t allowed to promote for CLC, because she is in a variety show called “Produce 101” by Mnet. This show follows 101 trainees from different companies to create one girl group named Produce 101. Eubin is in this show and so she can’t do anything else in the kpop industry unless she is voted out (and if she wins she needs to promote with the Produce 101 before she is allowed to promote with CLC). This is due to a contract she signed with Mnet.

The reason that this is a problem for the other girls, is that Eubin isn’t allowed to be shown in Mvs and her voice isn’t allowed on the radio with CLC. Therefor they had to release a short version of their new song “High Heels” (without Eubin) and will probably do little to no promoting. This is a shame as CLC is a talented girl group who could become big if only Cube Entertainment would wait to put in Eubin for another year…
