Big Bang MADE final in Seoul; tears and love

Like many other kpop fans (especially the VIPs) I have watched the MADE TOUR Final in Seoul concert live on the V app. And let me tell you, it was an emotional roller coaster! Mostly because after this there is only the 10th anniversary concert and then… the forced hiatus due to their military service time.

It was so emotional that towards the end you could see the tears in the leader’s (G-Dragon) eyes. This started at the end of his solo performance of “Crooked”, but you could really see him struggling when it was time for the goodbye speech. His tears made me and many VIPs cry.

“The last ten years haven’t only been good days. But you’ve Always waited for us, protected us and loved us” -GDragon at the MADE TOUR Final in Seoul (06/03/16)

I wonder if G-Dragon was worried or sad or just tired, because he seemed last energetic after the final speech when they preformed one final song. The song that put Big Bang on the map, Fantastic Baby.

The oldest of the group (T.O.P) also seemed to struggle to keep his emotion in check during the goodbye speech. Luckily enough there was Seungri who provided the much needed comic releave with his hilarious dance to “Single ladies” by Beyoncé.

Besides the underlying sadness, it was just an amazing show to watch. Every single Big Bang member has an incredible live voice! The set list was amazing and included all of my favorite songs of them. The only thing that bugged me was that the connection through the V app was kind of bad and kept failing…

I absolute love that Big Bang let everyone watch the concert for free through the V app, it shows how much they care about the fans and how thankful they are. And even though Big Bang won’t be back for a long while (due to earlier stated military service), I know I will keep loving them forever. Big Bang is the group that made Kpop the phenomenon it is today, without them there wouldn’t be as much kpoppers as there are today.

Top 10 G-Dragon songs

G-Dragon is one of the biggest artists in Korea and one of my personal favorites. He is really creative and talented, so today I am counting down my top 10 title songs that feature G-Dragon. These includes both his solo songs and songs with his band, Big Bang.

  1. Big Bang – Bae bae (2015)
Bae Bae is a song written by G-Dragon and T.O.P. And the music video is described as “One of the most sexual videos by a kpop male group ever” by Billboard due to it’s erotic reverences. The music video is also just very weird and feels a bit stoned (but cool). It is a amazing song, but not suitable for a first time kpoper (really, start them off easy, they gotta ease into it).
  1. G-Dragon – Crayon (2012)
Crayon is a pretty iconic kpop song in my opinion. It’s on G-Dragon’s “One of a kind” album and like every song on that album, the song is written by G-Dragon himself (which is really rare in the kpop industry). The music video is crazy and fun and so is the song!
  1. Big Bang – Blue (2012)Blue is a perfect song to listen to on a rainy day, it sets a mood and I love it! It’s on the “Alive” album which was one of the first kpop albums I got and every single song on that album is special to me for that reason.
  1. Big Bang – Bad boy (2012)Bad Boy is another song from the “Alive” album and it’s just adorable. I like the lyrics so much! Sorry I’m a bad boy, oh sweeties you don’t have to apologize for that. This song is the one that made me love Big Bang!
  1. G-Dragon – Who you? (2013)
Who you was the first solo G-Dragon song I listened to and it’s still one of my favorites. The melody is really catchy and the song is easy to understand, even if you don’t speak Korean. The music video is made out of fancams from a exclusive performance of the song.
  1. Big Bang – Sober (2015)
Sober is a part of the MADE series which was basically Big Bang dominating the kpop scene through out 2015. Sober has a catchy melody and a unique sound. The music video is crazy and colorful and one of my favorites of 2015.
  1. Big Bang – Let’s not fall in love (2015)Let’s not fall in love is another part of the MADE series and it’s the cutest song on the album. The song describes the story of a boy who slowly starts to fall in love with his best friend, but she just wants to stay friends. The music video shows the boys falling in love with a friend and started to make a move on her, but she rejects them. Seriously, A+ acting there, I wouldn’t have been able to reject the amazing men of Big Bang like that!
  1. Big Bang – Fantastic baby (2012)Fantastic Baby is probably the most iconic kpop song out there. The melody and catchy lyrics introduced many people to kpop. The song gave Big Bang their title as kpop legends! Just say “Wow” to any kpop fan and the chance is pretty big that they will go “Fantasic baby, dance!”. Trust me.
  1. G-Dragon – Coup D’etat (2013)Coup D’etat is really a masterpiece, the song is beautiful and the music video is PURE ART! Again, it’s not to be recommended for first time kpopers, but if you have adjusted to kpop culture than I definitely say YOU MUST CHECK THIS OUT!
  1. Big Bang – Loser (2015)Loser is one of my favorite kpop songs of all time, because it’s just so perfect! G-Dragon wrote the song to tell the VIPs (Big Bang fans) that they are not as perfect as they believe they are. The song is sad and beautiful and the music video literally makes me cry every time. I can not phrase this song enough, just listen to it!

That was it for my top 10 G-Dragon songs, which are your favorites?
